Settings
Configure your dealership profile, communication channels, business hours, voice settings, and feature toggles.
Settings is the central configuration hub for your dealership. It controls how DealerAI presents your dealership, how each communication channel is set up, when your team is available, and which features are enabled.
Navigate to Settings in the sidebar and select your dealership to begin.
General Info
The General Info tab holds your dealership's core profile:

| Website URL | Your dealership's main website |
| Logo | Uploaded logo used in webchat and email communications |
| Primary contact | Main phone number and email for the dealership |
| Address | Physical dealership address |
| Timezone | Used to localise message scheduling and appointment times |
Keep this information accurate — the AI references it when customers ask basic questions about your dealership.
Webchat
The Webchat tab configures the appearance and behaviour of the embedded chat widget on your dealership website:

| Widget title | Text shown at the top of the chat window (e.g., "Chat with us") |
| Greeting message | The first message customers see when they open the widget |
| Primary colour | The accent colour matching your dealership's branding |
| Position | Where the widget appears on the page (bottom-right or bottom-left) |
| Offline message | Text shown when no agents are available |
Use the Preview section to see how your widget looks before publishing changes.
SMS
The SMS tab configures outbound SMS communication:

| SMS number | The phone number DealerAI uses to send and receive SMS |
| Sender name | Display name shown in SMS messages where supported |
| Opt-out footer | The unsubscribe instruction appended to marketing messages |
Hours
Business Hours define when the dealership is considered open. The AI uses these hours to:
- Book appointments only during available times
- Inform customers of opening hours when asked
- Set expectations when customers message outside of hours
Configure separate hours for:
- Sales — general sales department hours
- Service — service department hours
- Parts — parts department hours
For each day of the week, set the opening and closing times or mark the day as closed.
Hours configured here apply to the AI's appointment booking and general availability responses. For specific holiday closures, use the Holidays section.
Voice Settings
The Voice Settings tab controls how DealerAI handles inbound and outbound phone calls:

| AI voice | The voice personality used for calls (selection of voices available) |
| Greeting script | What the AI says when it answers an inbound call |
| Transfer number | A phone number the AI can transfer calls to when a human is needed |
| Voicemail | Whether to offer voicemail if no agent is available |
Activation & Features
The Activation & Features tab gives a high-level toggle for every major DealerAI capability. Use this tab to enable or disable features for your dealership without having to contact support:

Disabling a feature here immediately stops DealerAI from processing that channel — customers messaging through a disabled channel will not receive any response.
